October 4, 2014 Blues, Cruise & BBQ - The Mid-Mississippi Muddy Waters Blues Society presents Big Bill Morganfield! From 9:00pm until midnight the son of Muddy Waters will be performing on board of the Mark Twain Riverboat! October 14, 2014 66th Annual Hannibal Band Days Everyone loves a parade!  Enjoy 30+ High School and Middle School bands as they parade down Broadway and vie for top rank.  Parade begins at 3 PM and will end about 5 PM. 573-221-2477.

October 17 &18 - Halloween Walk at Mark Twain Lake Campgrounds - Oct. 17th 6pm-9pm and Oct. 17 4pm - 9pm young trick-or -treaters will have the opportunity to show off their costumes and trick or treat at the Mark Twain Lake Corps Campground. $5 per car will be charged to provide lighting and park safety services for this fun event. November 22 & 23, 2014 - Annual deer hunt for disabled persons - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,  volunteer hunters, White-Tails Unlimited, and the Local Lions Club are planning the Annual Deer Hunt for disabled individuals, held at Mark Twain Lake Indian Creek Recreation Area. The hunt is open to 35 permanently disabled individuals having a valid 2014 Missouri firearms deer tag and a hunter safety certification card.Participants must have Hunter Education.
