Mark Twain Lake consists of 18,600 acres of surfasce water and is surrounded by 38, 400 acres of land managed by the US Corps of Engineers. The lake is approximately 27 miles in length and provides 285 miles of beautiful shoreline. This lake is ideal for both sailboating and motorboating and provides fishermen witha  variety of fish species. You'll find campgrounds, picnic shelters, beaches, playgrounds, boat ramps and marinas, along with numerous private facilities offering lodging, dining, shopping and family entertainment.

Visit Missouri's largest dairy, where more than 3,000 holsteins are milked three times a day-360 cows an hour! Watch the milking process from the observation deck above the 60-cow carousel. Call ahead (24-hour notice) for a guided tour to see the goat dairy, milking 1200 goats morning and evening. View the bar, nursery and farm life.
