10:30 AM    Get into the spirit of Christmas, Mark Twain style!  Enjoy a presentation at the Mark Twain Museum Gallery by Curator Henry Sweets on Christmas in the Clemens household, topped off by a reading of “A Letter from St. Nick” – a letter written by Samuel Clemens to his daughters Susy and Clara.

11:15 AM    Let your passengers loose in Historic Downtown Hannibal with those Christmas Wish Lists!  From art to antiques, crafts to coffee and chocolate specialties, your group is sure to finish up their Christmas shopping list with unique items or simply enjoy window shopping downtown’s eye-catching holiday window displays.

12:45 PM    Enjoy a hot home cooked meal at one of Hannibal’s fine restaurants OR make the day special with lunch at the Hannibal Country Club (not available to the general public)

2:00 PM    Get ready to enjoy the true meaning of Christmas with a special tour of some of Hannibal’s beautiful historic B&Bs, decorated for the holiday season.  This is something that will ONLY be offered to bus groups; the only other way to see these gorgeous decorations is to stay the night! Your passengers will get a tour of the public areas by the owners, will be able to take pictures and enjoy the lovely holiday decorations.

5:30 PM    A Shepherd’s Tale –  An original play by Richard Garey.Based on extensive research into the life of shepherds living in Judea 2000 years ago, A Shepherd’s Tale is the tale of Esrom, shepherd of Bethlehem, a goat, a dog, and the sheep. It is also the tale of two special nights. Sample the sights, the smells, and the music of 2000 years ago.

8:00 PM    Check in to your hotel

Another great option is to come on a special night, like Historic Downtown’s living windows or the Annual Christmas Parade, then book A Shepherd’s Tale play for the morning.  You are always welcome to do a bit of browsing downtown as well!
