The Food

Looking for a place the locals love? Look no further than a short mile from the airport! Fiddlestiks Food & Spirits, another locally owned restaurant has a menu that goes on for days. From salads served with a fiddlestik (a cheese-filled breadstick) to fresh steak entrees, everyone will find something they love. You can even pull up a seat at the bar to watch a game or just make friends with the locals.

Hannibal is home to all things Mark Twain, including his Boyhood Home, the cave that inspired The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and of course the Mississippi River, where you can catch a sightseeing or dinner cruise on the Mark Twain Riverboat. Outdoor Recreation
The great outdoors calls in Hannibal. Both Riverview Park and Sodalis Nature Preserve offer miles of scenic biking and hiking trails. Riverview, as the name suggests, offers some beautiful views of the Mississippi and its bluffs. If your bike needs a tune-up, there are several bike shops that cater to cyclists.
Fishing and Boating
Kayaking or landing a fish more your style? The Hannibal area has that too. Approximately 20 miles from the airport you will find Mark Twain Lake, an 18,600-acre lake
perfect for fishing, boating, kayaking, and enjoying wildlife. This lake is maintained by the US Army Corps of Engineers – no huge mega resorts, just peaceful natural views. Two marinas offer rentals to get you out on the lake enjoying nature in no time!
